2026 SIGKDD Service Award: Ankur Teredesai

2026 SIGKDD Service Award Award Winner

ACM SIGKDD is pleased to announce that Ankur Teredesai is the winner of its 2026 Service Award. Teredesai is founder and CEO of CueZen and a tenured professor of Computer Science and Systems at the University of Washington, working at the intersection of AI, clinical informatics, and population health. He served as General Chair of KDD 2019 and as SIGKDD Information Director for twelve consecutive years. His research spans graph neural networks, recommendation systems, reinforcement learning for health, and responsible AI systems, and he has founded and led AI health ventures serving millions of individuals across national health programs in the United States, United Kingdom, and countries in Asia. The award was presented at KDD 2026 in Jeju, South Korea, where Teredesai also delivered an ADS Invited Talk on generative AI for precision population health.
